Exhibitors and distributors in the Telangana region today threatened to block the release of new movies in T area if the movie ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’ was not cleared by the Censor Board before this evening.
“Censor board must clear the ‘Jai Bolo Telangana movie’ before this evening or else we will not allow the new movies to be released in our area from tomorrow,” the exhibitors and distributors threatened in a media conference. They also asked the Telangana activists and leaders not to block the screening of already released movies. “If you create obstructions to the movies being screened already, we will lose heavily,” Mr Vijayendar reddy, chairman of the Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce, told the T leaders.
It may be mentioned that the T activists have been causing obstructions to the just released movie ‘wanted’ featuring Gopichand alleging that the Censor Board has not cleared the movie due to a conspiracy of the Seema Andhra leaders.
The T leaders have already threatened to intensify the agitation if the movie is not given permission to be exhibited.
