WhatsApp rolls out voice calling

Instant Messenger, WhatsApp is now rolling out the much awaited internet voice calling  for the Android users. A number of WhatsApp users of Android app were able to get the voice calling feature activated by simply receiving a call from a user who had the service turned on but the invite system is heard to be not working. This means WhatsApp is still testing the feature and restricted it to limited set of users.

However, the iPhone version is yet to be unveiled and this feature also doesn't work in the Windows phones.  With the new version rolling out, there are many changes in the interface of WhatsApp. A new screen space has been added which gives the details of the voice dials made by a user. So with this, WhatsApp joins the elite group of apps like WeChat, Viber and Line that already allow users to make calls and send messages.

Despite no voice calling feature, WhatsApp continues to dominate the messenger service and has an active users of 700 million across the globe.
