Russia's Maria Sharapova reached the French Open 2014 finals and this is her third successive final berth. On the Thursday the world seventh seed defeated Eugenie Bouchard in three sets with 4-6, 7-5, 6-2.
On Saturday final, Sharapova will be meeting Romanian and fourth seed Simona Halep who made it for the first into a Grandslam finals. Simona Halep humbled 28th seed Andrea Petkovic with 6-2, 7-6 in straight sets.
Sharapova who was the runner up in the last edition of French Open is eyeing the championship this time.
