Saina Nehwal is enjoying a much needed break. In these six weeks, she says she will regain enough strength to become a strong contender for the World Championships scheduled to be held in August. She is ranked number 3 in the world.

Her fitness is on a comeback mode, she says, adding that the matches in the Southeast Asian circuit were not her best. There was apparently a doubt in her mind during the matches. Saina did not win a single tournament for the last 9 months and has been experiencing a lean patch in her career.

Indonesia Open, Thailand Open and Singapore Open, all these tournaments saw Saina failing to break into the finals. This would not be an issue as she says her best days would ensure a win. Her performance in the coming matches will be in accordance to her wishes, as she is confident about her fitness now.
