Pak Eves bask in Indian hospitality

Pakistan women cricketers express their satisfaction over the accommodations provided at the club house in the Baramati stadium in Cuttack in Odisha. The authorities cited security reasons regarding the arrangement, while many were commenting over them.

However the women cricketers put up a brave face and said they were out in India to play cricket. They added that staying here or in a five star hotel would play no difference. Until everything was fine they seem to enjoy anything.

Actually the women cricket world cup group B matches, were to be played in Mumbai, but owing to protests the venue had been shifted. Odisha officials claimed that adequate arrangements had been made for the visitors and the venue would host all the matches.

As per the International Cricket Council (ICC) now group B matches involving Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa would be now held in Odisha.

However the women cricket team from the hostile country is out with a mission to pacify the controversies and bridge the differences that seldom exist in Cricket.

The world cup would commence as per schedule from January 31 with Group A matches, involving defending champions England, India, the West Indies and Sri Lanka, to be played in the original venue in Mumbai. (Wishesh AarKay)
