Continuous dismal performance by a star batsman could be alarming to the team and if he is in the twilight of his career, the proposition to exit in disgrace could be equally pathetic.

In the recent past we had seen two similar cases where the batsman who were terror for their opponnets turned as paper tigers for more times. And the two are none other than our own Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and the former fierce captain of the Australia Ricky Ponting.

A consideration to these two career graphs would certainly prove how fatal they were in their attack.  They were dreaded by their opponents who felt had won the match by getting them bowled which was almost an impossible proposition.

However the batsaman seem to have been stagnant at a point on adding runs. Though their number of tests seem to be surging ahead the runs table is not moving at the same pace.

It looks like the Indian is frustrated to the core over his performance and even walked up to the selection committee to decide on his future.

People who know Sachin well will definately vouch for his revival as he had fought more crisis in his career as a legend. But the trouble seems to be the age that seems to be crawling over unmindfully and the physical restrictions that comes as a consolation along with it, with no fringes attached.

Under the given situation will Sachin be able to revive his style and bring home the good times is a question that is haunting his million sentimental fans. These fanatics (like me) cannot imagine cricket without Sachin, because Sachin is cricket and Crisket is Sachin......(Wishesh-AarKay)
