Sometimes stalwarts lessen their image in modesty but this magnifies their persona and they assume gigantic proportions on the human front. The former Pakistan Captain, Shahid Afridi on Tuesday ruled out himself from being named one of the players to be contenders for surpassing the massive 219 bash of the Indian captain Virender Sehwag in ODI.

He said `it's almost impossible to match the feat. It’s a huge milestone, which will be very difficult to break. As far as I am concerned, my batting position does not allow me to do it.’ Afridi was quoted as saying by the 'Express Tribune'.

Afridi, the Pakistan all-rounder, also said he views his upcoming stint with the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League as an opportunity to gain exposure and prepare for next year's international assignments.

Meanwhile at the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings announced on Tuesday at Dubai Pakistan's veteran Younus Khan jumped 11 places to claim the fifth spot. Younus Khan has charged up the ICC Player Rankings for Test batsmen after his double-century set up an innings and 184-run victory for Pakistan in the first Test against Bangladesh. Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid are the only two Indian batsmen among the top-10 in Tests rankings.
