India’s ace shuttler Saina Nehwal barged into the Malaysia Open Grand Prix Gold after defeating Korean seventh seed Ji Hyun Sung in a straight game in the semi finals in Kaula Lampur today.Saina comfortably defeated Sung 21-14, 21-13 in the two straight games of just 35 minutes to take on the second seeded Xin Wang of China in the finals on Sunday. Wang earlier beat fourth seeded Korean Youn Joo Bae 21-6 21-19 in the other semifinal.
Throughout the game, Saina played aggressive shots with a commanding show emerging winner on 42 occasions.
After being tied at 3-3, the Hyderabad girl advanced with magnificent show to take a lead with 20-11 in the first game. She even played better in the second game from the outset to post the win with a score of 21-13.
