Several TDP senior leaders of the Mahaboobnagar district including Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy, Jaipal Yadav, Ramulu, Harishwara Reddy, Ram joganna, Venugopala Chary and Vijayarama rao attended the ‘Telangana Nagara’ public meeting organized by the TDP Telangana Forum Convener Nagam Jaanardhan reddy at Nagar Kurnool this evening demanding separate state for Telangana.

Palamur University JAC extended support to the meeting saying that they would support any activity aimed at achieving Telangana irrespective of the parties involved. “Parties do not matter for us only activity is required,” the JAC said in a statement.

Reports indicated that the public meeting ended on a successful note with thousands of pro-Telangana activists and supporters attending the meeting and women supporters bringing Bonalu for the meeting.

It may be mentioned that KCR-led TRS has not announced its support to the Nagam Janardhan reddy meeting but the Telangana political JAC supported the move.

Even the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu asked his party men to attend the meet though earlier reports said that he had not approved of the meeting being conducted by Nagam Janardhan Reddy.
