90 Year Old Andhra Bank Launches Navashakti Branches

Andhra Bank is the first and only private bank before independence.  The Bank was founded in 1923.  It was nationalized in 1980.

The Andhra Bank is opening 90 new branches in the country to mark its completion of 90 years. Andhra Bank has pioneered credit card in India. The Bank is again going ahead to improve customer comfort by launching a program- Navashakti.

Navashakti branches will give banking service for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year by providing a Cash Deposit Machine, a Cheque Deposit Machine, Kiosk to Print Passbook and Internet Kiosk in addition to ATM service.

Seethammadhara branch in Visakhapatnam is made Navashakti Branch as explained by A.Narayana Prasad Zonal Manager for Visakhapatnam zone.  He said that five more Navashakti Branches will be opened in Visakhapatnam soon.
