Kawasaki Z1000 Soon in India

India Kawasaki Motors (IKM) will soon launch the Kawasaki Z1000, its naked street bike, in India. According to reports, the bike manufacturer sees huge potential in the Indian market as it had launched the litre-class Ninja ZX-10R and also the sports-touring Ninja ZX-14R just recently in India.

Kawasaki Z1000 is a sports bike with razor sharp styling and has minimal body panels. The litre-class bike was recently exhibited in Milan, at the 2013 EICMA motorcycle show. Z1000 comes with a four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine, that has a capacity of 1,043cc and features in-line, four-cylinder.

The menacing looking motorcycle can generate a maximum power of 142bhp at 10000rpm. It has a  peak torque of 11.3kgm at 7300rpm that drives the rear wheel through a six-speed gearbox. This sports bike is fitted with a front suspension and a rear suspension. Front suspension has an inverted fork while the rear is fitted with monoshock suspension that is gas-charged. Kawasaki Z1000 will be launched around December 2013 in India.
