As the wedding season is catching up in the country, the mad rush for the yellow metal seems to be beyond proportions. This surge coupled by the weakening of the rupee seems to have pushed up the Gold prices to Rs 32,950 per 10 grams.
This is an all-time high ever treaded by the precious metal, claim analysts. It was evident from the fact that in the last four trading days the yellow metal has gained by Rs 550.
Gold has been an integral part of our wedding celebrations. As the season is on, there is a beeline at the jewel shops across the nation. And at this point the metal surging upwards only escalates the budgets of the celebrations.
On Monday this had a direct influence on the sovereign gold and it was priced as Rs 22,650 per eight grams. (Wishesh-AarKay)
