Bengaluru Bulls’ disappointing show in the first half proved harmful to them as they beat 22-24 against Jaipur Pink Panthers in 31st match of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League at Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday. Jaipur Pink Panthers have now reached the top of the table by scoring 30 points and winning 5 matches among total eight. Bengaluru Bulls on the other hand have lost four games successively and are at 6th spot with 3 wins and pocketing 21 points.
Panthers kept their cool and went on to register their win with the help of Jasvir Singh’s and Amit Hooda’s five raid and tackle points respectively.
In the first half Bengaluru Bulls were leading 5-1, thanks to Deepak Kumar Dahiya’s counter with three points to Panthers’ attack which came at second minute of the first half. Panther managed to run over the lead secured by Bulls and successfully surpassed them by scoring five consecutive points to lead 6-5 in the 10th minute. With their both, defense and attack, contributing in the game, Panthers scores their first all out on Bulls in the 16th minute, gaining six points crucial lead before going to the half time.
Later in the second half, Bulls’ star raider Rohit Kumar, stood up and countered on Bulls as they successfully managed to cut the Panthers’ lead to two points. Some good performance by both the team’s defense and attack, results into a tie at the 30th minute in the match. However, Panthers scored important two-point raid which made a difference between both the teams and Panthers proved edge ahead Bengaluru Bulls as they beat them 24-22.
