What If you find a river turning blood red overnight? That too if it happens in a village where superstitions are high? It will be taken as a bad omen- a sign of evil that is going to do something bad to the village!
Roman Podbrezova, 65, had gone for a morning walk in the village of Slovakian, a bordering village to Czech Republic, to get a too conspicuous sight that was hard to miss. The river running through the village turned red with blood flowing in it.
He said, “I just could not believe my eyes. The river was dark red. It was like something from a horror film. Blood cascading through the centre of town.”
Some other natives said that the river was normal previous night when they were passing by it and all of sudden turned like blood stream by morning giving a horrifying look. Some feared that a sacrifice of 1000 virgins might have taken place.
A slaughter house up stream River Myjava usually drains their waste and it would get filtered. But the police spokesman said that they are investigating the source of blood in such quantities to make it a river of blood.
