Telangana Rashtra Samithi has retained its Medak Lok Sabha as Kotha Prabhakar Reddy won with a majority of 3 lakh and 66 thousand votes. This is a huge boost for the ruling party as the oppositions are criticising it over its 100 days of governance.
Congress's Sunitha Laxma Reddy stood second while BJP's Jagga Reddy stood third. The counting went like a one sided as Kotha Prabhakar dominated in every constituency. Even in Sanga Reddy where Jagga Reddy is quite popular, Prabhakar got slight margin of 19,000 votes.
This is disappointing result for BJP as pinned high expectations on Jagga Reddy who was one of the strong candidate to counter TRS.
