Women journalists of TV9 and ABN Andhra Jyothy channels staged a protest outside Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's residence in Begumpet this morning. Quite a good number of women journalists participated in this silent protest and demanded to lift the ban of the channels TV9 and ABN in the Telangana state.

One of the journalist claimed that their respective media organisations are unable to pay salaries to them due the ban on channels. They demanded government to respond immediately on the issue and take action against Telangana MSOs for stopping the telecast of channels without prior notice. On the other hand, Governor Narasimhan has given appointment to Women journalists this afternoon. Overall, TV9 and ABN channels have intensified their fight over the ban.
