The missing documents in Bollywood actor Salman Khan's 2002 hit and run case were found at the Bandra police station by the Mumbai Police. The Police Commissioner reported to the media that they have ordered for an inquiry as how the papers went missing for few days and warned that action will be taken against those officers for negligence.

On August 21st the police reported to a sessions court that vital documents related to the case were missing. The court ordered the police to find the missing documents by September 12 and report to it. Police sources say that the documents were misplaced as the Bandra police station was undergoing renovation and during their intense search, they managed to find them.
