News channel TV9 CEO Ravi Prakash was granted anticipatory bail by the High Court of Hyderabad in connection with the case of making derogatory statements against Telangana legislators. With a bond of Rs 25,000 and surety of two people, High Court has granted bail. However, the court has clarified that Ravi Prakash will have to attend the probe if the police call for investigation.

Ravi Prakash has approached the High court as no lawyer at the Lower Court came forward to take up his case. TV9 and ABN AndhraJyothy channels have blocked in Telangana state for making foul statements and carrying unclaimed news stories respectively.
