South Africa's Jacques Kallis has announced retirement from all forms of International Cricket short while. Kallis has retired from Test cricket last year after the series with India but continued to play the limited overs game. However, in the recent series against Sri Lanka, Kallis struggled to get runs. Though there was no pressure on him, Kallis himself declared that it was the right time to announce retirement.
Kallis is the only South African to score more than 10,000 runs in Tests and ODIs and to his credits Kallis has 45 centuries. He is also the only allrounder to take more than 250 wickets in Test and ODI formats. In his last Test against India in Durban, Kallis scored a century and South Africa have the Test and also clinched the series.
