India's Saina Nehwal reached the semi-finals of the Australian Super Series while PV Sindhu lost in the quarter-finals. Sixth seed Saina defeated Japan's Eriko Hirose with 21-18, 21-9 in just 47 minutes. Saina will take on Chinese top seed Shixian Wang in the semi-finals to reach the finals.
