Nagaland Governor Ashwani Kumar has resigned to his post and sent his resignation letter to the Home Ministry. Ashwani Kumar is the third person to step down from Governor post following the NDA government's policy. So far Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh governors have resigned and West Bengal Governor MK Narayanan is heard to be next line.
