Former Home Minister and YSRCP leader Vasantha Nageswara Rao resigned to the party and is all set to join Telugu Desam Party. Apparently, Nageswara Rao's son Krishna Prasad was arrested and he alleged that Krishna district YSRCP leaders have conspired for his arrest. So in protest, Nageswara Rao resigned to YSRCP. This is a huge set back for YSRCP as Nageswara Rao is one of the strongest leaders in Krishna district.
