Following the bandh call of Samaikya Parirakshna Vedika, the JAC Krishna District leaders announced that no vehicles will be allowed on the highway to move in to the town between 10 am and 12.00 noon and they ensured it by making human chains at Kanaka Durgamma Varadhi, Gollapudi Y junction, Milk Factory flyover, Ajitsinghnagar flyover and Benz circle areas.
The pro samaikya state activists went to Siddhartha Arts and Science College and other private public institutions and made them close the activities supporting the bandh call. They also declared that exemption will not be given to any institution during the bandh between 23 and 30th of this month.
Some activists staged dharna in front of the residence of MP Lagadapati Rajagopal.
