We all come across people who hurt us with their hurtful comments. You cannot change others, so the sensible thing to do is to ignore them. It's best to learn to remain unaffected by what people say. If you start caring for every word that is said to you, you will be a mass of emotions. This will affect your day-to-day communication along with your decision making skill.
Someone may call you 'monkey'. It's perfectly ok. You are well aware that you are a human being and not a monkey. So why get angry, at words that have no truth in them. But what if someone says something that is true? In such case you should be grateful to that person. He /she has given you information about your drawback and it provides you an opportunity to rectify your weakness. Actually the person deserves a 'Thank you' for helping you to improve your personality.
