Last minute beauty? No more a problem…

It is not that we are not aware of that party to be attended with someone special today… it is only that we are so stuck up with our daily routine, we resist ourselves from thinking different. Well, no more a problem. Here is a mantra that can be followed last minute, before attending the event and would make your skin look ravishing for the event;

The fresh rose facial mask recipe

This mask is great for dry skin, although it might be a bit elaborate due to rose pettals being added, but it certainly isn't impossible to make. The name sounds exotic, you must admit ;)

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons of milk (not fat free milk)

10 drops of lavender oil (great for skin inflammation)

2 teaspoons of coconut oil (great moisturizer)

2 teaspoons of regular vegetable oil

2 crushed rose petals

Preparation

Mix, apply and rinse off after 10-15 minutes.

Sweet rose facial mask

5 drops of rose essential oil

2 tablespoons of honey

2 drops of almond oil

Preparation

Mix the ingredients and apply on the face. Let it rest for 15 minutes and then rinse off with warm water.

Orange Face Mask for Oily Skin

Ingredients:

1/2 orange

8 tablespoon of flour

Preparation

Squeeze orange and mix in flour. Start out by adding 5-6 tablespoons and keep adding more, until you get compact, thick mass. Not too thick, thick enough to be able to spread on the face. Apply and let it rest for 20 minutes and wash off with lots of luke warm water.
Apple moisturizing face mask

Apple is full of potassium, mineral which when used in skin care, helps trap skin's moisture giving it a nice glow.

Ingredients:

1 apple

1 cup of milk

1 tablespoon of flour

1 tablespoon of olive oil

Preparation

Peel an apple and cut it in little slices. Boil it in a bit of milk, until soft. Mash it and add flour and oil. Apply to face while it is still warm (not hot!) and let it rest for 20 minutes. Rinse off with luke warm water.

Pineapple Face Mask

Pineapple is a great source of Vitamin C that helps cleanse the skin and Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) which is essential for proper growth and development of body's systems, skin system included.

Ingredients:

One pineapple (medium size)

1 tablespoon of olive oil

Preparation

Mash the pineapple and add olive oil to it. Use circular motion when applying this mask and let it rest for 15 min. Rinse off with cold water. You can apply a good moisturizer after this.

Try either of the two and get that ravishing look for you.
