Men propose to women, this is a orthodox. But Indian men are proving to be different as a recent survey revealed that Indian men want women to propose to first. The survey was conducted on over 6,500 single Indian men in the age group of 25 to 36 across the country to understand men’s take on relationships.

According to the survey, 71.7 per cent of men like when a women proposes to them and 63.8 per cent men opined that modern day women are confident enough to come up with first proposal, while 36.2 percent of them said it is difficult as the tradition is men first. Also 61.2 per cent men like the proposal to be a face-to-face conversation while the remaining were okay with digital form of proposing.

Interestingly men are okay if women proposes in WhatsApp, Facebook and any other media where face-to-face is not possible. The survey is conducted by matrimonial portal Shaadi.com.
