-Paint the iron grills before they get rusted in the rain. Check your terrace for any leakage and cracks.
-During this season, wooden doors or cupboard screws should be loosened a bit as the wood puffs up due to moisture. Also, use oil or varnish to protect wooden furniture.
-The electricity problem should be resolved before the rains set in as there is always the danger of short circuiting. So, make sure to check any wiring that you have at home.
