Pandemic Study: Increased screen time brought mental stress:- The working hours have increased considerably for all those who are working from home during the pandemic time. Most of them are left in a state of huge stress and they are battling themselves to bail out from the condition. As per the research that is done at the Saint James School of Medicine, the increase in the screen time among the adults is leaving them in mental stress. All these findings are discussed at the World Microbe Forum meet that was held recently. There was a boost in the anxiety scores as people had ample time to spend viewing entertainment on screen. But now, most of them are forced to work for a longer time than usual.
Students scored higher in the pandemic related stress when compared to others. The results had nothing much about depression. The research will be presented at the World Microbe Forum that will take place online June 20-24. The study said that the coronavirus pandemic impacted the people mentally and emotionally.
