With United States of America tightening the H1B Visa norms, there has been significant drop in the number of US Visas issued. However, Indian techies are exploring illegal routes to enter into the USA soil through Mexico and Hungary said reports. The Mexican immigration authorities deported 311 Indians on Friday which included 310 men along with a woman. They reached New Delhi last night and this is named as the largest ever deportation in the history of Mexico. India several times asked US to be liberal in issuing H1B visas to the IT professionals. With the norms tightened, Indian techies who are quite desperate of landing in USA are finding other paths.
The most popular route happens to be Mexico and reach the western city of Guadalajara. The other way to enter USA is through Budapest in Hungary. The officials of USA uncovered a fraud scheme of foreign nationals entering USA with false identities. An email sent to the IT industry's apex body Nasscom on the development went unanswered.The Ministry of External Affairs was yet to issue a statement. The Mexican authorities allege that the Indians had illegally reached the country over the last few months to enter the United States. USA President Donald Trump threatened tariffs on Mexican imports to keep a check on people entering into USA.
