Telangana Student Found Dead In US; Suicide Suspected:- A Telangana student, identified as Raja Vamshi Reddy Muddasani (23) has been reported dead on Monday, in Michigan, US.
According to information available from a funding campaign launched by the Telangana Development Forum Detroit (TDFD), Muddasani is believed to have committed suicide. The young lad had moved to the University of Michigan-Dearborn from Florida a few months ago.
A fund raising campaign has been started on the website, www.gofundme.com, according to which Muddasani committed suicide “due to unknown reasons”.
The TDFD post said, “Rajavamshi hails from a middle class family. His father is a government teacher and mother a homemaker. The parents are being informed about the incident.” The post added that investigation by the Michigan police is currently going on.
It also said that, efforts were being made to send the body to India by this Friday, for which the Forum was trying to raise at least USD 15,000.
The fund raising campaign, which began on Tuesday morning, has so far seen USD 1,205 being raised by 52 people in five hours.
