Tulsi Gabbar is all set to become the first Hindu-American to be elected to the US House of Representatives. Thirty-one-year old Gabbard, who won the Democratic party nomination from Hawaii last month, addressed party gathering at Time Warner Cable Arena in North Carolina. Some personalities' first words often receive tremendous response and remain in the hearts of the people.

When Swamy Vivekananda addressed the parliament of religions as My dear brothers and sisters of America, he received an overwhelming response. Ms. Gabbar's Aloha, nonetheless, too received good response if not like Swamy's Vivekananda's. Aloha means love and campassion in Hawaiian language. She said: "Aloha! I'm Tulsi Gabbard, candidate for Congress in Hawaii and a captain in the Army National Guard."

Notably, she became the first youngest persons who got selected to the Hawaii Legislature at the age of 21. And when was 28, she became first woman to bag an award by Kuwait National Guard.  Addressing the gathering she has said that she knew the cost of the war and the sacrifices made by the troops. She hailed President Obama and Vice President Biden stating that the were strongest advocates the military families could ever have. Tulsi concluded her speech b again saying aloha.
