A Gentleman Story

A Gentleman is all about Gaurav (Sidharth Malhotra) and Rishi (Sidharth Malhotra). While Gaurav is completely safe, Rishi is risky and is packed with action. Gaurav is in love with Kavya (Jacqueline Fernandez) but he doesn't get enough courage to express it. After working with Colonel (Sunil Shetty) for an enough time, Rishi calls it a quit before which the last mission is assigned. The rest of the film is all about the mission and how Gaurav, Rish meet each other. Watch A Gentleman to know about the rest.

A Gentleman Analysis

A Gentleman Movie Review, Rating, Story, Cast & Crew

A Gentleman has nothing new in terms of plot but it is the treatment which makes the audience convinced to some extent. The first half has been racy and introducing the characters along with their behaviours have been exceptional throughout. The songs look decent and are sure a fresh breath for the film. On the whole the first half has been convincing with packed action and racy narration.

However things seem to be different with the second half. A Gentleman could have done miracles if the second half has been penned and executed well. Things do not work in favour as some of the episodes look uninteresting. Once the major twist is revealed, A Gentleman has nothing much to offer and it turns sleaky and trashed. To convince the audience, the makers managed to introduce many characters in the second half.

Performance

Siddarth Malhotra pulled off with his dual role. Right from looks, costumes, expressions and the body language, Siddarth has been perfect and gave no choice for anyone to be pointed. He has been stupendous in his role and he excelled in the action episodes. Jacqueline Fernandez has no strong role in the film and her character has been designed to exhibit glamour throughout.  She has been exceptional in songs and her pole dance is a major highlight. Darshan Kumar too has an impressive role assigned and Sunil Shetty has been sincere as Colonel.

A Gentleman has a poor script, badly written screenplay and dialogues which make the film a disappointment. The music has been decent and so is the background score. The cinematography has been stunning and the production values looked grand. Directors duo Raj and DK fails once again in coming out with an interesting film. It is the confusing script that makes A Gentleman a disappointment.

A Gentleman Final Word

Siddarth Malhotra shines in a dual role balancing the film well which loses control during the most crucial second half. A disappointment.
