Sarbjit Story
Sarabjit Singh (Randeep Hooda), a Punjabi farmer gets trapped in Pakistani and he will be forced to agree that he has convicted a crime that he never performed. It is his sister Dalbir Kaur (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) who fights for justice and the rest of the film is if the justice has been served. It is known that Sarbjit will be brought to his homeland but it unfortunately happens only after his demise. Watch the film to know the rest.
Sarbjit Analysis
The first half starts on an interesting note revealing about a Punjabi family and the sudden sequences that alter the entire situations of the family. The director made sure that he has taken all the important aspects of Sarbjit's life that happened in 23 years. The unnerving story of a farmer has been exceptionally presented and the songs match the film’s mood completely. On the whole the complete first half is a treat to the audience.
Coming to the second half, Sarbjit has huge dose of emotions and the realistic episodes have been well narrated on the screen. Though Sarbjit's role has been restricted to the four walls of the jail, they reveal many emotions and Randeep has done wonders with his exceptional performance throughout. The technical aspects along with Aishwarya Rai’s fearless performance takes the film to the next level. The heart touching and brutal climax needs a special mention. The complete second half has been narrated.
Performance
Randeep Hooda who proved himself as an actor has done a remarkable job in portraying the emotions, affection, sorrow, frustration and helplessness. His performance will be remembered for ages. A special care has been taken on his body language and the way his character has been designed. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan comes out with a strong and dignified performance as Dalbir Kaur. She carried the film on her shoulders with her fearless performance throughout. Darshan Kumar as Sarbjit's lawyer has been completely impressive though he has a crisp role assigned. All the other actors delivered out their best.
The story of Sarbjit has been inspired from the real moments that happened in the life of Sarbjit Singh. The screenplay of the movie has been completely gripping enough that it pulled out the film in the most interesting way. The music and the background score has been apt and is worth. The cinematography surely needs a special mention for the stupendous visuals throughout. The production values have been rich and lavish enough. Omung Kumar comes out with a brutal and heart breaking drama that will sure touch the hearts of the audience.
Sarbjit Final Word
Engaging screenplay and stupendous performances of the casting, makes Sarbjit a must watch.
