Rocky Handsome Story

Kabir Ahlawat (John Abraham) runs a small pan shop in Goa. He never wishes to unfold his painful past with anyone and he develops good relation with Naomi (Diya), who comes to his shop.

Diya’s mother Anna (Nathalia Kaur) is a professional bar dancer. She steals a consignment that costs in crores and it belongs to the ruthless criminals Pereira brothers: Kevin and Luke. The brothers kidnap Anna and her daughter for the consignment.

How did Kabir rescue the duo and how is this situation linked with the male lead’s past? The answers for these, unfolds in the rest of the movie.

Rocky Handsome Movie Review and Ratings

Adopted from a Korean film “The man from nowhere”, Rocky Handsome is handled well, making the changes that suit to Indian nativity. The first twenty minutes runs on a low profile, but picks up right pace after Naomi gets kidnapped. Never before action sequences on the Indian screen, can be seen in Rocky handsome movie. The songs have been decent and the interval episode takes a huge bang. The entire first half has enough entertainment needed for all sections of the audience.

Living up the expectations of the people, who watched the first half, even the Rocky Handsome’s second half is thoroughly entertaining. The screenplay is gripping and would keep one travel with the scenes continuously. The placement of the songs is perfect and the climax needs a huge applause.

Performance

No doubt, John Abraham is the show maker of Rocky Handsome. He carried the entire film on his shoulders. His unique stunts in the film, surely deserves a loud applause.

Sruthi Haasan is glamorous in the crisp, but crucial role. Baby Diya is one more highlight of the movie and she has done a fantastic job throughout. Nishikant Kamat’s appearance is challenging one and he does his job perfectly well in ruggish role. Sanjay Khapre, Sharad Kelkar, and Teddy Maurya are apt to their roles and rest others are fine with their performances. 

Both songs and background score is good and dialogues are well written. The cinematography is perfect for the film and the editing has been crisp and short. The production values by John Abraham Entertainments have been decent and Nishikant Kamat comes up with a gripping narration once again and he impresses the audience big time. 

Rocky Handsome Final Word

The never before action episodes and the stupendous performances by the lead actors, makes Rocky Handsome, a worth watching film.
