Story :
Kaanchi movie happens to be a musical thriller accompanying a love story. The essence of the film is the beautiful leading lady Mishti Mukherjee (Kaanchi) who transform from a village girl to a national phenomenon. She belongs to a very small 'Pahadi' village, and naughty and ill-mannered girl who takes the revenge of every wrong thing happen in her village. The love story of Aaryan and Kaanchi set in the hills, and when the some wrong happens in the big city with Aaryan, then she decides to raise her voice against that unjust and rectify the wrongs. She starts gaining fan following from various classes of people of the nation. Her deeds put-forth some problems before some national leaders and they try to suppress the inner power of a woman who represents millions of youth against injustice.
Analysis :
Kaanchi is a forthcoming musical thriller film directed and produced by Subhash Ghai. His films are mainly known for its great sense of music. Subhash Ghai has always produced films that have an entirely different story line, and so is Kaanchi. This is the story of a beautiful rural girl and her fight against power. Till now alays the women have been criticized for their weak strength, their inability to fight for something. This movie breaks all odds and features and represents Kaanchi as an inner power of a woman, which fights against the suppressed youth power.
The film casts newcomers Kartik Aryan and Mishti in the lead role whereas veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty and Rishi kapoor play alongside. The much anticipated film has some of the finest music you could find. The rhythms are foot tapping and the lyrics slips you into another world. Some of the brilliant minds like Ismail Darbar and Salim Suleman are behind the music direction. To add upon the richness of the musical fantasy, singers like Sukhwinder Singh, Mohit Chauhan and Raj Pandit have given their voices.
The film has an appealing music that caters every human soul. It has got great response on youtube for its music videos especially for ‘Hindustan Kahan hai’ and the title track “kaanchi re’.
Performance :
The film casts newcomers Kartik Aryan and Mishti in the lead role whereas veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty and Rishi kapoor play alongside. The storyline of Kaanchi is clear and interesting script able to hold the grip on the minds of audience. Appearance of Rishi Kapoor in negative role and Mithun Chakraborty in an extraordinary role is fabulous.
Sensational acting, love, romance and chemistry of star cast is remarkable and role of female actress left a very good remark and a satire on politics. Wonderful choreography and cinematography by Sudhir chowdhary represented all elements on the screen very nicely. All the aspects together, let the 'Kaanchi' rock the floor and has created a huge buzz at the blockbuster.
Final Word:Kaanchi which has been produced under the Mukta arts banner this film is set to release on 25th April, 2014 in various multiplexes and single screen all over India. If the audience goes with the appealing music and the different story line, this film could easily grab up a handsome collection at the box office. I am going with a 3.5 star for Kaanchi.
