Despicable Me 2 is a heart warming entertainer featuring the voices of Steve Carell, Benjamin Bratt, Kristen Wiig, Russell Brand and Elsie Kate Fisher lending their talents to the adorable animated characters in the movie. This is a sequel to Despicable Me, the first in the franchise. The 3D movie includes all of those much loved characters from the earlier offering.

Story :
Despicable Me 2 has the villain turned dad Gru protecting his foster daughters and saving the world. He has a Jelly and Jam making business that he has to put aside to join the Anti-Villain league. He takes his new job very seriously as he tries to fight the villain Eduardo. The very cute minions also play their part in giving a twist to the happenings.
Analysis :
The movie has excellent screenplay and a gripping story. Quite an entertainer this one. The character of Gru was chalked out as entertaining as the first, supported by the highly admirable minions. The movie's climax has a lot of action full of a volcano, shark and a rocket.
Performance :
This Animated offering is a smart and well-made piece with the actors doing a great job with their voices. The characters have well-timed comedy and very good co-ordination.
Final Word:This is a beautiful story that makes you go aww even as you go rolling on the floor with laughter.
