Story:

Tanya (Esha Deol) is an established writer, who is leading a lavish and happy life. Her life takes a twist after she will be known that she is an adopted child of Rajasthan royal (Vinod Khanna). Along with Jai (Arjan Bajwa) and Kuki (Chandan Roy Sanyal), she starts on a journey to find her biological parents. What efforts she makes to find her parents and whether she will become successful in her attempts will form the rest of the story that has to be seen on Silver Screen.

Analysis:

The story completely centres on Esha Deol's character and she has a huge scope to act and showcase her performance skills in the film. Esha seems to have not utilise the platform completely. In many sequences where the audience would expect more drama from her, she remains to be pale and making the essence of the entire sequence, ruin. Arjan Bajwa and Chandan Roy Sanyal have less scope, but they have used the available screen space to show their skills. Vinod Khanna, Rishi Kapoor, Hema Malini and Dharmendra remind you of their past glory. Farooq Sheikh and Deepti Naval are good in their respective role. It is such, Esha being the major importance in the film, has not kept up to the expectations of the audience and rest all roles being the helping hands for the film to move, doing there best.

Performance:

Veteran Actress Hema Malini, made her directorial debut with this flick, directing her daughter Esha Doel. The story of the film itself requires a very crisp screenplay and the change over from one to another sequence should be fast. But, the entire film makes you feel very bored. At one point of time, you would lose your patience and push off from the theater. This story is not that of a regular commercial cinema. So, the director would have been much more careful in narrating the story and the star cast would have been set right properly. Esha looked a bit better in this film, when compared to her films earlier. The rest all departments did their best. The cinematography work is worth mentioning. The Music and abck ground score were up to the mark. Overall, the film clearly tells that in order to give uplift to the career of Esha, Hema Malini is tried to work out the magic. But, seems like the magic did not worked wonders.

Fianl Word:

‘Tell Me O Kuda’ – watch the film at your own risk.
