Keerthy Suresh in talks for Vedhalam Remake?:- Megastar Chiranjeevi is on a break and he will resume the shoot of his upcoming film Acharya from November. The film is a social drama directed by Koratala Siva and it releases in summer next year. Chiranjeevi is expected to complete his portions of Acharya by February next year. Chiranjeevi signed a film for Meher Ramesh who has been struggling for success. The film is said to be the remake of the Tamil blockbuster film Vedhalam. The regular shoot of the film starts in March and it will be shot, completed in quick and back to back schedules.

Lakshmi Menon played a crucial role in the original and the hunt for the role of Chiranjeevi's sister is on in Telugu. Meher Ramesh narrated the script to Sai Pallavi and the actress responded on a positive node. But she is yet to sign the dotted line. Meher Ramesh is now holding talks with Keerthy Suresh for the role and things would be finalized soon. If Sai Pallavi will not sign the project, the makers are keen to lock Keerthy Suresh. The film's official announcement will be made very soon. Anil Sunkara's AK Entertainments are on board as producers and the film releases for Dasara next year.
