Suriya And Karthi To Join Hands?:- Talented actor Suriya hasn't tasted success in the recent years. His Telugu market reached rock bottom and the actor needs a sold hit to stand in the race. Karthi who was introduced as the brother of Suriya established a decent market. His last movie Khaidi is a smashing box-office hit in Tamil and Telugu languages. Suriya and Karthi wanted to join hands for a film but they were not impressed with the scripts and rejected the offers.

Suriya and Karthi happened to watch the Malayalam super hit film Ayyappanum Koshiyum recently. Impressed with the content, the brothers decided to come on to the board and play the lead roles in the remake. Suriya already acquired the Tamil remake rights of Ayyappanum Koshiyum for a decent price. An official announcement about the film will be made after the director gets finalized. Suriya's 2D Entertainment will bankroll the project. The film will start rolling next year once Suriya and Karthi completes their current commitments.
