Senior character actress, Sudha made some interesting revelations about the late Telugu actor Uday Kiran, in her recent interview.

Sudha, addressing a noted media house, reportedly quoted that the prime reason for Uday Kiran’s depression, was the cancellation of his engagement with Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s elder daughter, Sushmitha.

The senior actress said, “Uday Kiran could not take the pressure of cancellation of engagement to Chiranjeevi’s daughter. He used to come to my house frequently and share his grief with me. I tried to console him and I even thought of adopting him as my son. But, the entire engagement issue had so great impact on him that it haunted him for several years.” Sudha terming the engagement issue as the major reason behind Uday Kiran’s depression may instigate a few fingers to raise against Megastar. Sudha even revealed that she would have slapped Uday Kiran if he survived from that suicide attempt. Contrary to that, she said that Chiranjeevi and Akkineni Nagarjuna are very close to her and that they supported her when she was not well.
