Ace Tollywood Director, SS Rajamouli, is set to work with Tamil Superstar, Rajnikanth, and is expected to make a big film with him soon.
The nation's most-happening director, made an announcement regarding this, at the pre-release event of Baahubali’s Tamil version. The cast and crew of Bahubali, which included the filmmaker, actor Prabhas, Anushka, Tamannah and others, were present at the event in Chennai.
Kollywood star and Rajnikanth’s son-in-law, Dhanush was the special guest at the function and the team released audio songs of the film.
Prior to the event, the director, Rajamouli said, “this concluding part of the film is tightly based on conflict between characters introduced in part-1. To ensure that the film should not miss its Tamil nativity, we had brief discussions with Satyaraj and Nazar, prior to the shoot.”
“We will continue the Baahubali franchise in the form of a TV series, animations, mobile games and etc,” added Rajamouli.
The director also added that he would like to bring onscreen, the complete Mahabharata over the course of time. Earlier, Rajamouli had expressed his desire to direct a trilogy based on the Mahabharata, with Rajnikanth, Mohanlal and Aamir Khan, and Rajamouli, known for his intricately woven cinematic opulence and grandeur, might kick start the project after the release of his highly anticipated sequel.
“But, for now, I have no side thoughts other than Baahubali for now,” said Rajamouli.
Bahubali:The Conclusion, is scheduled to release on April 28. The second installment of this massive franchise has Prabhas, Anushka, Rana, Ramya Krishna and others in the lead roles and the film has music by MM Keeravani.
