Kabali has reportedly shifted its release date to July, as there are few pending post production works, that take time.

Though in the beginning, the makers said that they would probably release their movie in June, Kabali teaser that released recently, took the YouTube to the storm, witnessing the record views, likes and shares. It is the second highest views for a trailer on YouTube, after Hollywood’s ‘Avengers’.

This range of craze, came as a surprise to the makers and is now worrying them, about the expectations people have on the film.

So unwilling to take any chance on the quality of the film, the makers thus reportedly postponed the film to July. If everything goes well, the movie would hit the theaters on the first day of July month.

Super Star Rajinikanth will be seen as an aging don and most of the film is shot in Malaysia.

Directed by PA Ranjith, the movie is being produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu and has Radhika Apte as the female lead.
