Sunny Deol will be playing the main lead, in Vijayendra Prasad’s Bollywood debut as a director.

Being Rajamouli’s father Prasad gave the scripts to most of the Rajamouli’s films. In fact, the recent blockbuster Baahubali was penned by Vijayendra Prasad.

While Baahubali was already showing waves to the theaters, Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan was also released, with few days gap of Baahubali’s release. Even Salman’s movie was registered as a blockbuster, which was again penned by Vijayendra Prasad itself.

It was then, the Bollywood market professionals eyed on Vijayendra Prasad and that made him now announce his debut project in Bollywood with Sunny Deol in the lead.

Earlier, Prasad directed Sri Krishna 2006 and Rajanna. The latter movie was appreciated well. Few war episodes of that Nagarjuna’s starrer was directed by Rajamouli himself.

It was again now, he is expected to hold the megaphone for few episodes for Sunny Deol’s movie too.

Baahubali 2 is scheduled for release in April 2017 and the director is continuously involved in its shooting, as the date is already committed and cannot be changed, as per the tradition of Bollywood, where even Baahubali earned good craze.

But that will not stop him from monitoring his father, as it was his debut in Bollywood.

So it should be seen, how far the legendary director, manages to balance his dates between Baahubali and Prasad’s bollywood debut “Mera Bharat Mahaan”.
