Akhil movie, which was released amidst of huge expectations, could not reach the expectations of even Akkineni fans, along with the normal audience.
 
Producer Nithin suffered huge losses and reportedly Nagarjuna supported him financially, for the loss suffered for his son’s movie.

Now, Akhil project had given another tight jolt to the makers, through Gemini TV. Before the movie release, reportedly Gemini TV offered Rs. 5 crores to the maker, Sudhakar Reddy, who is Nithin’s father.

But Sudhakar Reddy strictly said that, he was not going to sell Akhil movie for less than Rs. 7 crores. So Gemini TV stepped back and Sudhakar tried to sell the movie to another channel, after the release. Out of the confidence in Akhil project, he expected that, he can demand more after the movie success.
 
But unfortunately, Akhil movie could not reach expectations and left as a huge disaster. Even the distributors were on Nithin’s head at a point of time and it was then Nagarjuna helped Nithin.

Now, Sudhakar Reddy tried to bargain the price for Akhil project with Gemini TV. He said that, he is ready to sell the movie for Rs.2 crores. Countering him back, Gemini TV said that, it is not going to buy Akhil movie, for more than Rs. 70 lakhs.

Sudhakar Reddy, who was shocked to hear this, is currently trying other alternatives of selling Akhil. It should be seen, whether he finally compromises with Rs. 70 lakhs or not.
