Venkatesh is the only senior hero, who is calm on releasing any type of information about his movies or, it seems, he might have thought of taking a gap.

‘Victory’ Venkatesh. The tag is perfectly apt for him, as he owns a good success rate. At a time, where the senior heroes are struggling a lot to get a single hit, Venkatesh got continuous hits. But however, the success rate started coming down, after Tulasi.

Tulasi is the last big hit in Venky’s career. After that movie, he received several disappointments, through the movies like Chintakayala Ravi, Namo Venkatesa, Nagavalli, Shadow, Masala etc.

Venky is known for his family entertainers and even got popularity among the family audience. But upon trying bit different characters, the audience could not accept him in his later movies. When he again tried his genre of family entertainers like ‘Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’, Drushyam etc, he secured good success.

Venky, who always plays a safe game with the remakes, opted ‘Oh My God’ and remade it in Telugu as Gopala Gopala, dropping Pawan Kalyan into the picture. Venky again got  good success with that film and that is the last released film of him.

After Gopala Gopala, Venky announced few projects with Maruthi, Dasarath etc, but none is officially declared. However, it seems, Venkatesh movie with director Kranthi Madhav is confirmed and even titled as 'Santhosham Sagam Balam'.

Nayanatara, who earlier was cast opposite Venky in Laxmi and Tulasi, would reportedly be seen as the female lead in this new movie too.  

So hope, our Venky, who spread millions of smiles to us, since decades, continues the same in the coming days with good comedy and family entertainers.
