If the buzz is to be believed, VV Vinayak approached Ileana for an item number in Akhil's debut.

It is known that Vinayak introduced Bellamkonda Srinivas into the industry. To have a grand attire for the film, he thought that an item song with Tamanna would work out  creating a hype for the film. So Vinayak consulted her, convinced her and finally made the mass audience go mad in the theatres.

Now, Vinayak is currently directing another star hero for his debut film and needless to say it is Akhil. But the needful information to be given is, the movie unit is making special arrangements to rope Ileana for an item number opposite Akhil.

Ileana is presently considered as a fade out actress, so at this time, a song opposite Akkineni hero may rise up her career. On the other hand there is also a buzz that,  if she accepts this offer, then Ileana will be left to these special numbers itself and thus completely winds up the acting in the films as there is a tradition in the industry that no producer considers an item girl as a main heroine.
