Court warns of grim future to Anjali

Actress Anjali, who had been a part of many Tamil films, was ordered by the Madras High Court to check her absenteeism or face dire consequences. Despite repeated notices, the actress has failed to appear at court in relation to an ongoing controversy.

Anjali had accused Tamil producer Kulanjiyam and her Aunt Bharati Devi of using her as an ATM. Subsequently the producer filed a defamation case in retaliation. Now Anjali is nowhere to be found while the controversy rages on.

She was supposed to have appeared in court on 23rd May and 5th June. Non-appearance on her part has earned the wrath of the court, warning of a non-bailable warrant against her if she does not turn out for the next hearing on 9th July. Anjali will surely be arrested this time the court says.
