Hotel heiress and socialite Paris Hilton did some remarkable humanitarian work at Ashray, an orphanage located in Mumbai suburbs. Reportedly she became Santa for the kids and even danced to the tune of Ra-one song Chammak challo .

The orphanage is a part of Committed Communities Development Trust (CCDT) in suburban Bandra area of Mumbai. The socialite looked blissful wearing a floral outfit with a garland around her neck .

She was given a grand welcome as the children greeted her with traditional Aarti . The delighted star said ""I am so happy to be here and meet you all. It is holiday time and Christmas is coming. I hoped you liked the presents," Hilton said at the event. "I admire the work done here. It makes me so happy."

Even though Hilton has been in the news for all the wrong reasons and allegedly became "famous for being famous", she deserves applauds for this act.
