It has not even been a week, director Kunal Kohli’s creation, Shahid - Priyanka starrer ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ has hit the silver screen...but, seeing the first 3 days of response from the audience on this flick, we can definitely compare this flick to the similar love entertainer of Shahid’s earlier flick ‘Mausam’, that was released among huge openings but failed to impress the audience at a larger extent...

Teri Meri Kahaani is one of the most expected romantic thrillers of 2012. And it was expected to break the first day collection record of Shahid Kapoor's last release Mausam, which had collected Rs. 7 crores at Box Office on the first day of its release, but you know the ultimate result of the film. Unlike Mausam, the Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra starrer movie registered 35% to 40% occupancy in both multiplexes and single screens across the country. Teri Meri Kahaani has received an excellent opening at the overseas Box Office. The movie has scored Rs 2.20 crores from the collection centres in UK, UAE, Australia and New Zealand. The movie's collection from the US Box Office is yet to be revealed. If it is included, the movie might beat the international collection record of Mausam, which had grossed Rs 7.5 crores at the foreign Box office in the first weekend.

If not with Sonam Kapoor in his earlier flick, let’s hope Shahid gets lucky with Priyanka Chopra with ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’, in coming days…
