Well what are you thinking? Surprised!! that Rajinikanth is acting as Avatar in the Indian remake. Sorry you have landed on the wrong place. It is just that the latest Superstar’s movie Kochadaiyaan, a hi-tech 3D film is to use similar technology.

This film will be utilizing for the first time in the Indian cinema the performance capture technology first used in the Hollywood venture Avatar in 2009. The latest in this team is The Adventures of Tintin by Steven Spielberg.

The film is directed by Rajini’s daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth and is slated for release in August 2012. The film shall be produced under the supervision of famous masala director KS Ravikumar, who has in addition written the story, screenplay and dialogues.

So this only means the superstar’s fans across the globe have to wait for `Rana’ for some more time, may be after August.
